I am extremely passionate about Indigenous issues, and all facets of Indigenous struggles. I have worked in Treaty Land Entitlement and Specific Lands claims, which allowed me to gain invaluable knowledge of the legal systems for First Nation land claims in Canada. However, this was not the beginning of my introduction to Indigenous politics. I grew up in a home that was surrounded and occupied with people heavily involved in Indigenous politics. Love people, communicate with them, and take an interest in their problems. Those are the values that I was brought up with. My activities began in the ranks of Scouting, which taught me honesty and love of others, and to help preserve the environment and do good at all times and places, in parallel with this I was involved in charity work for an association, which fed the hungry and help the poor and give to the disadvantaged.

Communication is key. A good leader listens and cares about everyone's wants and needs. In my opinion a good leader should be respectful and understanding. They should take the time and investigate problems and situations they might encounter. Relate to the public and you are a good leader. ( read more)
